DGC Vehicle Rental will take receipt of 70 new DAF commercial vehicles in December, ready to meet the strong demand the company is already seeing for 2019.
The company has bought a wide range of high spec vehicles, including DAF LF180 and DAF LF 260hp curtainsider and box rigid vehicles, alongside DAF XF480 FTG 6x2 tractor units with Super Space Cabs and 3.5 tonne vans.
"We have extremely high customer retention rates and customers who come to us from all over," says MD Andy Taylor. "As a result we invest heavily in having the kind of quality vehicle which our rental and contract hire customers expect."
He is also seeing a change in customer choice. "We are seeing more customers moving away from national competitors, because customers want high levels of local service. Our decentralised, personalised approach is very appealing to both local and regional operators where transport is often not their core business," says Taylor.
The company, which offers a complete range of vehicle solutions from one-day spot hire to multi-year contract hire arrangements, says the fleet is hand picked for versatility.
"All the vehicles are carefully selected to meet the needs of haulage, distribution and own account operators, as well as the wide range of sectors who use our panel and Luton van offerings," says Taylor. "DGC's improved rental profile is part of our on-going commitment to providing customers with a large choice of the latest Euro-6 vehicles."
As a result, DGC services the event management, courier, food distribution, removals, manufacturing, catering and highways management industries as well as logistics.
